Widex proudly introduces mind - a hearing aid family of the highest quality and with models to suit all types of hearing loss.

The mind™ family comprises the mind440 and mind330 hearing aid series.

With the mind series, exceptional sound has got even better - with even better technology and even better benefits for you.

On these pages you can find basic information about user benefits, the different mind440 and mind330 models, accessories and downloads.

mind benefits

The mind™ hearing aid series include innovative benefits that aim to give the hearing aid user a better listening experience.

These benefits include an upgrade of the sound technology, a relaxation and tone program (mind440 only) and a verbal messaging system.

Sound technology

With the mind™ series we have upgraded our famous sound technology (ISP) to create Dual ISP.

mind440 and mind330 are also the first Widex hearing aids to feature the TruSound compression system. The Widex philosophy is that:

soft sounds must be audible but remain soft in character

normal speech must be audible and intelligible

loud sounds should be heard but not uncomfortable to listen to

The TruSound compression system helps to ensure that changing between such sound environments is made as smooth and fast as possible.

Tone program (mind440 only)

mind440 is the first hearing aid ever to feature a relaxation and tone program. We call it the Zen program.

The Zen program plays random, harmonic tones you can listen to at your leisure, for example if you want to relax.

With the Zen program:

You have five different choices of Zen styles music programs

You can tailor Zen styles music programs with your hearing care professional to suit your individual needs

Tempo, volume and pitch can be adjusted by your hearing care professional, giving you total control over the way you listen

Verbal messaging system

To help you to control hearing aid functions, Widex has created an innovative verbal messaging system, SmartSpeak. The system uses actual recorded speech to talk you through functions such as Audibility Extender and battery power.

These clear, verbal messages come in a wide variety of languages in a male or female voice, making it much easier for you to adjust programs and settings.
