I find that wearing ear defenders over my hearing aids hurts my ears, but they are over the ear, is there any that fit over them, please?

Hi there, are you using the ear defenders for shooting? If so you could consider ear protection that gives you some amplification as well as protecting against damaging noise?
Something like this http://www.hearing-aid-batteries.org.uk/viewcategory.php?groupid=23
I've not heard of any products myself that are specifically designed to cover the ear and a behind the ear hearing aid, if the mic of the hearing aid is outside the defenders I don't think you'll be getting the protection either! You might want to consider at least removing your hearing aids whilst wearing ear protection, although I can't be specific without knowing the full situation.

I think, The music volume in clubs and concerts is a serious threat to young peoples' hearing. The situation can be even more serious for musicians, because they suffer more frequent and prolonged exposure to loud music than most people.
