Sudden Hearing Loss With Ringing
« on: April 08, 2010, 09:40:23 pm »
I was sat at my desk today when all of a sudden with no warning I went deaf in my left ear and experienced a constant ringing. Its still ringing some six hours later and I still cant hear. I generally have no hearing problems so really would like to know what it could be and what I should do about it?

Hi  fazza...

You can do the the most promising treatment is steroids, which can bring at least partial recovery in about half of the cases if treatment is started immediately.
