Recommendations on the best hearing aids?
« on: December 15, 2009, 08:24:49 pm »
Hello, this is my first time posting on this forum and I have recently been told I need hearing aids, which I knew before having the hearing test. I would appreciate peoples opinions on which brand and types of hearing aids would best suit my hearing loss. Obviously I dont want to pay through the roof for one, but I would like something which offers good value.

Much appreciated.

Hi there. Just a little tip-off for you. If you are looking at invisible hearing aids then you will most likely come across the Otolens by Starkey. Be aware that in the UK this is only available on the top level technology option. However, you can buy the same product under the Audiosync brand. It is called iSync. The isync is available with far more techbnology options and under a lot more price choices (including the Audiosync equivalent of the Starkey Otolens S11). Audiosync iSync is an exclusive brand only available through Ascent Hearing Care in the UK. If you want an entry level invisible hearing aid then this is the brand with the lowest entrty level price option.

Hi There....

Before going shopping for a hearing aid, there are some factors that you should consider:

* See an Audiologist--An audiologist is a professional who can help you choose the right hearing aid and be sure that everything fits and is well adjusted.

* Looks--For some people, looks are very important.

* Hearing aids should be tiny and also they are compatible..
