Moisture problems
« on: September 13, 2011, 11:01:31 pm »
I have had hearing aids for 3 years but during that time I have had terrible trouble with receivers failing apparently due to moisture. Sometimes they only last a few weeks. My audiologist says that my ear canals are narrow and that increases the moisture. I use a drying tub every night and I work in an office which is not a damp atmosphere. Any suggestions.

I think it is very important that you take time or every single day to clean your hearing aid to keep it free of moisture....Take time to learn how to effectively and properly clean your type of device so you don’t cause other damages to it.
