I have worn hearing aids from several hearing aid manufacturers in my life.  I got frustrated by all the so so sound adjustments that the local audiologists were providing.  Many times I would feel like a little puppy, just patted on the head when I would try to explain what or how I was hearing or not hearing something, and sent home.

I finally found a hearing aid company that sold me all the equipment to do the sound adjustments myself.  Now I have two HearSource open fit digital hearing aids, a hearing aid programmer, software, and connecting cables, and I was able to save over 60% from what the local hearing aid sales office wanted to charge me.

So now I do hear better and I like the way my hearing aids sound.  So I have to give myself credit for doing the sound adjustments myself and to the company HearSource for giving me the equipment and opportunity.

Yeah, I've heard a lot of good things about HearSource hearing aids.  Personally I've been using Phonak hearing aids.  They've been pretty good.  No significant problems.
